Default McCormick Deering 1.5 hp value?

well seem these questions before but not sure if this is a good deal or not
its a throtter and if i get this one dont wnat to over pay to get it running
heres what i know
1.5 hp
EK wico mag
it turns free but no compression and is complete as far as i can see
I was thinking value at a fair price would be $300 is this to high or to low asking price is 375 witch i think is two high for this style of non runnig engine
and yes we are on the western US side

That EK mag if hot sells for around $250.00. I say that is not a bad deal.

The 'M' pictured is a gas only model, probably built after 1923. A serial # check can determine when it was built. Readily apparent, the oiler is missing. Next thing to check is the fuel tank (built into the base), and the fuel pump, below the mag. Your price seems reasonable, if you split the difference between the asking price and your offer, you still are in the ball park.
