Default Champion Spark Plug Cleaner & tester

Hi All
Restored this earlier this year as something different to do, does anybody know how to date it the only date I could find was a next test date tag on the power cord which said ‘next test date Aug 63’
It also works fine
Ian

Hi Ian, Is the sign original? I have a metal champion sign the same and it has a date in the lower corner 1962. this might help you date it if the sign is the original one of the cleaner.
I can see something in the lower right corner, is it a date

Hj Chris
Is the sign original? don't know
On the lower right corner is 'PS105' most likely the code for the sign

Hi Norm
The two mirrors were broken, the air regulator stuck, none of the threads wanted to undo, and all the wiring and rubber hoses had to be replaced
I was lucky the buzz coil worked and the sand bag and nozzle were fine other than that all it needed was a good paint job

We have had a lot of laughs with those machines, we would run a wire from the tester to a spanner, just out of reach of the pit, i would ask someone to pass the spanner, while my mate who was leaning on the machine pressed the button, we attached the wire to pens, all sorts!in the end no one would take their hands out of their pockets.lol
good memories, regards Bob
