Default Wisconsin powered Hobart- generator/welder

Just found a deal (I think) and purchased a welder generator. It is a 5KW, 200 amp hobart powered by a Wisconsin THD.

Wisconsin serial # 3418484
spec # 139623

Hobart serial # A.A.W.-38096
model # GW-2235

It has electric 6 volt starter and actually starts and runs OK. I plan clean and rebuild the carb and start with a good tune-up and service. I have not welded with it yet, but have powered some lights and fans.

I have searched a bit and found very little. I was wondering if anyone has any experience or feedback on these units. I understand Wisconsins are known to be bulletproof. I would like to find a carb kit and manuals, any help greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Don't know anything about them, so can't help with parts, but do have a TH/THD factory "Instruction Book And Parts List" I got in a batch purchase.
Usual brown PB, 9x12, Issue MM-277-B, 65 pgs plus another 10 or so on carb and mags.
I believe there're online copies somewhere; $5 plus mailing, probably another couple for Media Mail if you want a hard copy.
(Says only difference between TH and THD is that the D has stellite valves and inserts (seats??). Details email if of interest; no ack/reply nec if not.
Good luck.
