Wonder where that nice museum quality engine came from. It sure is a fine looking engine all cleaned up. It ought to be a real show stopper.

Well, It came from a guy who restored in VA, named Reggie Goolsby. Any relation to you?

I came out one morning and my model A was gone and there sat a Crossley. The A must of turned into a Crossley.
Really strange.

I owned that engine once. I bought from a friend in Michigan who went to Canada to get it. We loaded it on my trailer about midnight during a thunderstorm. The loader he had was used for moving cow pies. Some how, on accident, I was undernieth the bucket when we were getting it strapped up and all the water and s**t came down on me and the engine. So even though it looks really nice now, just a few years ago it and the owner at the time were covered in......

Reggie mentioned he bought the engine off you and I was going to email you that it was now back in Ohio. Reggie and his nephew Larry, did a fine job of restoration and I am very happy with the engine.
Great story about picking it up. Video would have been even better.
The Crossley has been registered with the Anson Museum in England. It was built in 1928 and shipped to Dominion Equipment & Genneral Supply Co Ltd in Winnepeg, Canada.
