Default R8 adapter for annular cutters

Hello All,

I am looking for an R8 adapter to hold annular cutters for my bridgeport. I have only ever seen one, a year or so ago, and can not remember where. Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction to find one.

BGunn,

The shank is 3/4" straight w/ two flats on the shank for set screws.

Ok, Those are Weldon shanks, I may have a couple in the shop. I will look as soon as I can. Also as long as you don't push the cutter to hard you can use a regular collet, just set your feed a little lower and use plenty of coolant/oil. I have done this in a pinch a few times it just depends on the material that you are cutting.

Thank you everyone for your help with my tool search. I did win a nice set of cutters and the holder I was seeking on E-bay a few seconds ago.

Thanks again,

Jim
