Thumbs up Blacksmith Shop demonstrations @ Freeport Threshing Show Sept 18,19,&20

Among all the other active displays at the Stephenson County Antique Engine Club's Old Fashioned Threshing Show and Antique Display is the blacksmith shop in the clubs building by the Sawmill which also houses the 60HP Fairbanks Morse Diesel, several Stover upright diesels, and a generator unit with a bank of old glass storage batteries.

Blacksmith is on hand all three days of the show giving working demonstrations and talking to the crowd answering questions for spectators young and old.

New Show Dates this year are Sept 18,19, & 20 with a wide variety of displays and activities. Something for everyone from the young child up to the grandparents that grew up with it all.
