It fell off


Ok now I have a new qustion. I was going to fire up the steem roller found some gunk on the sight...

Default It fell off

Ok now I have a new qustion. I was going to fire up the steem roller found some gunk on the sight glass went to clean it off and it fell of so now I have a hole into the boiler how do I get it put back on and who does it it looks like it is just sawterd on but dont know I would like to get it fixed but am I better off just hocking it up to air

Pictures would help me help you. there should be two open holes at this point. If it just fell off, there could be a corrosion issue and soldering would be futile without nice clean re-established connections to solder. Post some more information and pictures if possible, lets see how you can be helped to fix your sight glass.

I would like to help you if you can post a picture of it. A photo of the over engine so we can see what brand it is and then a photo of the broken areas. It might be a brand still in business and you could order the parts needed to fix it.
