Photo It's another what is it??

A friend at work wants to know what this is. It has 60 REV. PER. MIN. embossed on it. Looks like it came from a lathe but it has a wood handle. It also has a screw that looks like it will keep it on the end of the shaft when not engaged and a small hole that looks like it would be for a roll pin. I'm just guessing, so has anyone seen one of these or got any ideas??

With that speed marked on it, the first things that came to my mind were:
Forge blower
Hand grinder
Ice cream maker
???

My guess is a cream separator drive handle.

Ding, ding, ding! You have a winner Fred. Kid's right that it goes to a cream separator.
