There should be two wires from each coil. One is an insulated wire coming from near the bottom of the coil and the other is just a stiff wire extending about 1/4" from the front of the coil near the top. The two short stiff wires are connected by a coil spring with an insulating cover. The insulated wire lead from the left coil attaches to the points assembly, along with one capacitor lead. The insulated wire lead from the right coil attaches to the frame of the mag, along with the other capacitor lead, to the screw in the frame below the right coil.

Rudy:
I looked at a couple of old EK coils last night, and there were two wires coming from the bottom of each coil, with one wire being shorter than the other. The short leads were connected together, and the longer ones went to the points and ground. I don't think that there is anyway to get the coils confused if they are made like the ones I have. The short, stiff leads at the top can only go one way if the coil spring jumper is going to work.
