A recent auction buy. I think the color and condition is very nice for 110,120? year old paper.

Do my eyes deceive me??? That CASE is belted backwards like a FRICK! Does this mean that CASE came up with the idea before FRICK!?!?

Why would you want to belt it backwards like that? I can see it getting the stack away from the thresher but seems a bit dangerous.

The engine sitting like that would make a more direct route for men bringing straw from the thresher to the engine when firing with straw.

It would be the engine to have in a belting up contest. Pull the hitch pin and drive ahead a few feet and your done.
