Maybe it was impounded and never retrieved, then it can be sold at auction to the highest bidder for storage fee's.

Did anyone else read the six pages of "ask the seller a question"? Very entertaining reading to say the least.

Did anybody else notice that the seller has a 0 rating.

I will bet this is just another hoax and that the auction will end before the time limit is up.

This was just on the HLN/CNN news a little while ago . Its the city of Proctor that is selling it . The police chief there said they checked with e-bay , and the present bidder is legit . They also interviewed the guy that built it , he said he hopes the city uses the money for a good cause .He also said he is auctioning an autographed picture of him in the chair to help pay his fines and lawyer . Also he is planing to build a bigger chair now . Still cant see the logic in the bids on this though .

Hey for those kind of bids I'll be taking orders for similar new machines. I'll use brand new mowers/chairs and other parts.......Any takers?

And free shipping also!

Eric, I think you are right, but I'll bet if it were yours and had that kind of a bid you would change you mind, I know I would.

I noticed that, but I also noticed a police car in the background of a couple of the pictures.

Jay Leno collects cars I am curious if he is bidding on it!

By the way it is now at $40,100.00.

I doubt it. Jay Leno seems to be a pretty smart guy.
