Question Climax R61 Engine Manifolds

Nephew had a 1926 Snogo with a Climax 6 cylinder engine given to him. All the pieces are there, but in need of complete restoration. We have turned the engine over and it did try to fire, but is very low on compression. The manifolds are in poor condition. Anyone know where any R61 engines might be located? The engine powers both the truck and snow blower through a series of mechanical linkages and clutches. It was the third year that Snogo was in business. 100 gallon gas tank and 2 large updraft carbs. Looking to start work on it as soon as 1953 Ford Jubilee tractor with loader and backhoe exit the garage. Thank you.

(1) Search Climax here and see the K D Redd "Climax Eng'g Engine" thread started on 9-14-08...it's on another R61/R6I (parts catalogs often confuse the capital "I" with the number 1 in Climax engine listings).
Note the comments therein re' Waukesha and Arrow as possible parts sources.
(2) Pray. Climax concentrated on heavy industrial engines (yours should be 6x7), so there aren't that many lying around.
(3) If manifolds cannot be found there are people who repair/rebuild, but know nothing about costs (can advise a couple).
(4) Check the closest Waukesha engine dealer for a manual (Wauk Eng website says manuals must be ordered thru dealers); if none available, try the Wauk Engine Hist Soc (wehs@me.com); they have some manuals "no longer available thru Wauk" but will require you state which dealer you asked.
If above doesn't turn up parts you need can advise some obsolete engine parts dealers. With sympathy, Bud.
PS: some posts say this engine will burn 10gal per hour, which explains the gas tank!!

Several years ago a man in Indian called me about a snow blower with a Climax engine. I called Arrow and they refered me to some one else and they had the parts (valves) the man in Indiana needed. Check with Arrow first.
