Default Hello from the Netherlands!

Hello I am Jean-Paul
First forgive my mistakes in English, it is not my native language..
(or I dare you to write a letter in Dutch to me gheghe)

I own a small 2-stroke, 1 cilinder tractor a Hanomag R 12 KB, pretty rare only 904 of them are build in three yrs at the end of the 50s.
Videos can be watched at youtube, just type tctsd (tractorclub the strange ducks)

recently I acquired two Lister SR engines (7.75hp 2500rpm, 6hp 2000rpm) for a very cheap prize, they just don't make compression, yet.
They came from a barge and where covered in oil and sand and will need a lot of work, but I have a helping hand from my dad, and on these pages I read also some interesting things!
Thanks already to all!

all the best, jp

JP,
David
(English for all the other Stakers)

JP,
I didn't want you to feel left out....we Stakers have to stick together...I am in the Military and in Iraq I worked with the Dutch Army...great bunch of Soldiers...
Well on to you problem...I think you may have one of two things that you need to check...carbon build up in the rings...or as you stated oil and sand...guess you will know when you break them down....
Glad to see you around on Stak.
David

Jean-Paul:

Along with the others here, I'd also like to welcome you to the 'Stak.

Lovely place you have over there in Holland. I especially like the old arch bridge. I suppose it is a railway bridge.

Take care - Elden
