Default IHC Scale Model Vertical Engines

K.K. "finally" showed up and things got a bit out of hand. He got his "OLD" wire, and we both got all excited over just a couple of IHC Vertical Models I dragged out . We ran the 1/5 scale and K.K. just about about fell over. Then I brought out the smaller one just to show him and he got weak kneeded and almost . You can see the size difference in the photos . We're just trying to have fun on 1/3/2010 in NJ where it's cold with 50MPH wind gusts.

The smaller one has never been run by me . It's just so nice, and well machined, with good compression, and I'm sure it would run with some fiddling if I wanted to do it . All I did to it was fabricate the set of trucks it sits on with a set of cast iron wheels I found at the flea market one day. The bigger model doesn't get run as much as my full sized 2HP IHC Vertical Famous Pumper .

Yeah I think I'd run the big one more, but I'd still be tempted to crank up the models... I dunno if I could resist the urge...
