It resembles an Associated 3 horse power mule team. Has serial number 51482. 18" OD fly wheel; 2...

Default Please help me identify this engine!

It resembles an Associated 3 horse power mule team. Has serial number 51482. 18" OD fly wheel; 2 1/2" face; 3 1/2" bore and 9" stroke. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It is a Root & VanDervoort R Line 'Triumph Line' engine. The engine number will be on the boss on top of the hopper.

Your engine is a 1915 R model Triumph as stated by Patrick. Not the correct color though, should be a dark green. Joe

I have a 1 hp triumph R and V and its original red in color, doesnt show any traces of green,

Thanks for your reply. Can you tell me where I might find more information about this engine? I found a serial number as you can see in my origional post. If I decided to sell this what do you think would be a fair asking price?
