Greetings group,
New member here, just wanted to say 'hello' and introduce myself. I'm a career fireman in Iowa. My main hobby is restoring an old fire truck that I have. I also recently acquired a Wisconsin Engine-powered Miller welder and have been tinkering on it. Since I found some useful information on here about the Wisconsin Engine, I decided to join up. Looking forward to participating on your forums. Damo |

Hmmm... I can't seem to find the "EDIT" button... I got a little trigger happy and hit "SUBMIT" before I proofread my post. I've been having keyboard issues lately... seems as though my "n" is stuck... it's supposed to be signed "Damon." HA! Whoops.

Hi Beth,
How does one become a subscriber? Just curious... is there a particular reason that a person isn't allowed to edit their own posts? I think this is the first forum I've joined that is set up that way. No biggie, I just wondered. Kevin, The mighty Mississippi is still as majestic as ever. We have a big ice jam above our dam right now, but the rain we're getting right now should help take care of that. Thanks for the greetings! Damon |

Damon,
The Subscribe link is at the top of each page. It provides instructions. Being a subscriber is $20/yr and provides additional capabilities and space for photos...some of us don't know how to stop sharing.... ![]() That's my 24 hp Port Huron pulling my brother's 1/4 scale Case... Beth

Greetings from a bit upriver!
I like the looks of the firetruck project, worthy cause for sure. I recognized the salvage yard in the pics where your trucks were stored for a while and remember seeing one out there at the time. I really need to stop by there and pay the boys a visit, been too long!

Hi Beth, At first glance, I thot the small one was trying to pull your 24 HP backwards...because they should be looking in direction of travel...just kidding. Have a great day everyone.

JunkHunter,
The first parts truck is still at that same salvage yard. We haven't had enough of a stretch of decent weather to move it since I bought my place outside city limits. Hopefully we'll be able to get to it yet this winter. Damon |
