Default Hello from North Cackalacky

Hello everyone,

I'm from North Carolina and have been interested in old junk since I was about 13 years old. I grew up in Southern Ontario and currently live in sunny Raleigh, North Carolina. My current projects are a Fairbanks Morse Z Style D that I picked up last weekend, and a 1924 Ford Model T that I'm building from a frame and motor.

Cheers,
-- Mike Helms

I almost forgot ... I'm also a spark plug collector and recently started a spark plug collecting website: http://www.sparkplugger.net

Cheers,

Thanks Preston. I've actually been tinkering with old iron for about 20 years since I was an early teenager. Restoring a hit and miss, and building a Model T have been projects I've wanted to take on for some time, and I finally have the garage space and the means to do them.

The Fairbanks Morse ZD isn't technically a "hit and miss", but it has a big flywheel, lots of neat looking castings and it'll make enough noise to qualify!

Cheers,
-- Mike
