Default Removing Generator from engine

Have a older 3000 Watt generator on a Tecumseh 6hp engine Need to remove generator from Engine not having any luck. looks like generator end plate next to motor has bolts into engine case & probably have to remove outer shell of Generator to get to them. I have removed the bolt out of the end of the crankshaft, unable to remove generator shell.

Hold the engine and generator vertically by the rotor. Back the bolt off slightly and hit it with a hammer. It will break free from the tapered shaft and come off easily.

It's just to remove the rotor from the tapered engine shaft. Everything else will be bolted on somewhere else.
