Hello & Welcome!
You are most certainly NOT the only one that is here from India.
I did a quick search by location and came up with 26 from your area of the planet (after going through all the members from INDIANA).
Here is a list of places where they are from:
Ambala,Haryana, India
Chandigarh, India (this is you)
Mumbai, Maharashtra INDIA
kumarakom South P.O,Kottayam district,Kerala State,India
Pune , Maharashtra, india
Mumbai, India
Kolkata, India
Darjiling, W. Bengal, India
Mauritius (Indian Ocean)
Trivandrum, Kerala State India
Karnataka Bangalore India
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India
Mumbai, India
Hyderabad, AP, India
Moradabad, India
Agra, u.p., India
Pongalur, India
rakot, gujrat , india
Maharastra, India
Kollam, Kerala, India

There are a couple of duplicates in the cities listed and some people only wrote "India" as their location.
Hopefully some of these members will be near to you and you can meet someone with similar interests.
Good luck & Have a good day,

gday amarbir,Sounds like the rascals that do up engines are the same all over the world .. Have a lot of listers out here actually had a mate call in yesterday with a load of firewood for us who has a lister the same as yours and were just discussing how well these went and if you kept the dust out of them they would last forever.. His son and mine ( lister d ) would have competitions to see whose engine would start first.. Could do with some of your indian weather at the moment ,sleeting and snow showers here...All the best with the overhaul and good pictures cheers graeme

Hello again,
I looked up the member that is from Rakot, Gujrat , India using the advance search option on the Members List. He appears to have joined in June of 2007 but has never posted any message and has not been back to this site since he joined.
Here is the information he left:

Well ,
Mate is cold in here just 50 to 55 degree celcius .I wonder as according to lister manual the temp of the water that flows out of the water exhaust should be 70 Degree celcius max :

On the left is the oil bath air cleaner (orange) behind it is the 15kw generator head. In front is a starter and flexplate from a Chevy. On the right is a Chevy water pump that circulates to one of 2 radiators depending on the season. And the starting battery that is charged by a solar panel. Oh yea, and a bunch of tools that need to be picked up, lol.

It's my big ugly baby.

It's on it's own little stand made from angle iron and a piece of 1/4" plate anchored to the base. All connected with PVC and a couple rubber couplers for vibration. It pulled all the oil from the original air cleaner that was mounted on the engine and I wanted to make sure that couldn't happen again. The one I'm using now came from an old Ford V8 engine.

We are visiting our daughter in Bangalore but haven't seen any hit and miss engines, here. Do people use them, yet? I enjoyed your running Lister on YouTube.
