Default Oliver Model 5 corn picker

I finally got the picker out on Friday. The SN is: 74517AV, any idea on mfg date? Sitting under a collapsed roof did the output tube little good. That will be the first thing removed. The brokern, haywired tongue parts say that this machine was abused, then abandoned.

Hello, Your Oliver picker was built in 1968 per my serial # guide. This picker was built at the Shelbyville, ILL plant. The Oliver #5 was made from 1950-1972. Good luck!! AJH
