Default Hello from Upstate NY - Fairbanks Morse Pump Jack

Always amazed by good 'ol engineering and manufacturing.
Especially engines. Just added a cylinder pump to my FM Z.
Kids kept asking "What does it do?" Can't wait for it to warm up enough so I can plumb it and fill with water. Runs out in my front yard for all the summer holidays.

Looks great to me! Get it operational this summer and it should be the ultilmate in "yard art"

Thanks Ray,
This engine had not been run since the 30's. Cleaned it up a bit and she fired right up! Not a rare engine, but I've never seen one with the FM jack pump setup. The cart was built with wheels I found in the swamp behind my house. Used locust and the cart probably weighs as much as the engine !
Waiting for Spring in Rosendale,
Jay

Welcome to the Stak Snowy. Being from the Buffalo area I don't consider Kingston as very upstate, but it fits the official description.

I was told by a New York city resident that the upstate region started where the northbound subway ended!!!

Nice set up. All you have to do now is wait till May and go to the antique machinery auction in Hudson ny. Its a great auction to add to your collection and get rid of extra money
