Don't take the magnets off the cross piece. It is very easy to get them disoriented.( someone before you may have already done this).The points should break in the last half of the trip cycle. If you suspect the condensor. use a small .20mfd capacitor for a chain saw or something. I didn't know those Fairbanks 47s had AB33s. Tony

Sevral supporters of this site repair them, check the busness card adds. That is where my ab33 is at now. I was told that in most cases the ab33 is not a home type job because most of the time the coil needs to be rewond.
