Default South Bend 9" Lathe

Had some luck yesterday, finding a nice little South Bend. It was located at less than one mile from my place since over 20 years and I only found out about it yesterday. Also found a nice hand operated shaper under the workbench, it does not have the handle anymore but I will fabricate one.

All the best
Marcel

the head stock looks good, all the paint is there, the rails are good, nice find, did it come with the general electric motor?

The other lathe is a Emcomatic and was part of the deal as well. I am not sure whether the tail stock is original or not, it looks like it has been repaired at one point. The motor is a belgian built ACEC, not sure if this has been fitted by the importer or not. I will post some more pics later on. Everything should work, even the gear wheels came with it.
