Default New grandfather, father and son team from PEI Canada.

My Dad and I have been gathering and restoring for 30 years and now my Son and I are carrying on. Dad's collection includes a 10 hp mogul sideshaft, FBM T, 15hp FBMYH, mogul junior, woodpecker, sandow and many more common IHC,Empire etc.
My son and I have a small gilson, hercules, fuller & johnson on a CH&E mud pumper. Today we started playing with a Goold Shapley Muir that my wife gave me for christmas, drop of fuel, first pull and away it goes. Nicest engine we have by far. I just called a man who's father and grandfather were the Goold dealers in our province, he says he remembers helping his dad deliver an engine to a customer when he was @10 years old. He cleaned out the barn twenty years ago and hauled truckloads of parts to scrap!!!!
Have to start making a cart and get it cleaned up and painted before the summer shows start.
Great hobby to learn from and great to spend time with family.
Glad to welcome anyone who has the chance to get up this way just send us a line and we can hook you up with"the engine guys" around PEI.

I am not in your neck of the woods but welcome aboard. If you ever get near Maryland, please stop by. It is a great hobby escpecially when you can share it with those you care about. My father used to come to my shop every weekend and we would work on the engines. He has had some health problems and is no longer able to tinker but those times we had are etched in my memory forever. Welcome and good luck. If we can be of any help don't hesitate to ask. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience here on this site. I do not posess any of it but others do.
