That is absolutely the most beautiful engine I've ever seen. Great work. I hope to see in person some day.

But who's going to clean it afterwards. Or perhaps the dust would not dare to settle. We have a few engines like this in the UK and I don't know how the owners manage to keep them like it.
Great stuff

Fred

Stunning , I just came back from around the middlefield area a few days ago. of course everything that the stutzman's do is just exceptional to me. You gotta love those pristine engines that look untouched, Like J.D. Millers 110 Case. I saw Jonas's 20 advance at wauseon, Thats a pretty one too. Those extension rims really beefed it up, they made it look even better.

But, That thing almost belongs in a big glass case, but what fun would that be?

I forgot to mention that all af the pictures I posted above were taken by Doug Carter. He lives just north of Middlefield and is a friend of Jonas' and mine. He takes real good pictures.

I google u-tech, but the website doesn't seem to have alot of information in regards to the actual specs on the paint, particularly hi temp paint. What series paint is he using on the boiler?

Thanks,
-Robert

Does U-Tech come in a powder you mix?

EthanC,

U tech paint is 2 part epoxy paint. 7-15 min flash time between coats. I used it on my Keck. It's hard as a rock. It does not hold up well to raw steam cylinder oil on a hot boiler though. I use engine degreaser on the paint and wash with water. Holds up pretty well.

Bump.

Will Jonas be bringing this to NTA this year so perhaps it can sit next to the Rynda Gaar Scott now owned by Holps?

Thanks
Beth
