Default Lister diesel

Well I went to the auction today and bought a Lister diesel engine. It's a single cylinder and the model plate has no writing left. It does have some stamped numbers on it though. It say's "PCI" and has a big blank space, then says "1434PCI". Then below that it says "3.7" then another big blank space "2200". I have several question about this engine. When was it made? Is the 3.7 HP or KW? I also assume it's at 2200 RPM. Is that correct? Where can I get a manual on this engine?

I forgot to say it didn't take much to get it running. Also I was wondering what's it worth?

I thought I would show a photo. May be it will help in getting information. Picture is good for 2 weeks. BTW the engine is running in the photo. It sat over night and took only 3 wraps around the pully to start it. Yesterday may have been the first time it ran in years. It sure seemed to be an awful big engine to run that little generator. The generator has no markings on it and I assume it's under 1,000 watts. How big of a generator do you think this engine will run?

I messed up on this. There were several of these engines at the auction. Some said Lister, some said Petter and one said both Lister Petter. One had an electric starter on it. It was pointed out to me that it didn't look like a Lister. So I had to go and look again. It says Petter on the front and it's not easy to read. I still have the same questions only for a Petter engine now.
