Default John Barden-Denton FarmPark locomotive engineer passes

Many of the brethren here who have been to the Denton, NC show will remember John Barden, who looked after and ran the steam locomotive there.

There was always an extra place in the cab when John was running, and many got their first steam experience through his generosity.

He caught the westbound unexpectedly on August 31 at the age of 52.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. I've seen him man the controls of that locomotive many many times over the years.
