Default Springfield 36

Finally got the original kohler back in instead of the briggs the previous owner had put on. Never seen another vertical kohler with a recoil start

Thats a nice looking tractor but the driver looks a little skittish.

Here's the only 2 i got of it. It had a thru fitting in the firewall/steerwheel support for the recoil start handle. You could start it while sitting in the seat. I think the engine dated 1960 and looked original. Under the thin repaint u could read "springfield 36" and 4hp i think. The 36" deck is next to it. Sold at least 12 years ago, (kids grew out of it). In the second pic u can see the other 2 springfields we had. One was a 1962 and the other was a 1956 model 350a.
