Never heard of that make before. I wouldn't be too quick about deciding whether or not that is the original engine. Seeing the v-belt pulley on the tractor makes me think it's not as old as the steel wheels may suggest. It could have been built during wartime when rubber was in short supply, hence the steel wheels. That would also be about the proper vintage for the engine as well. I think it's worth the price and would be checking it out if it was in my neck of the woods. Plus, who knows what else might be found at that guy's place!

The only small scrap of info I could find about this tractor is that they were manufactured by Lauson & Wiliams of Tulsa, OK. The one photo I found was the very same looking tractor as in the ad but had a Clinton on it.

Sorry Guys, I bought and paid for this one when it first showed up. Don't know why he hasn't deleted the ad but he does have a lot of other stuff for sale.( tractors and engines). Picking it up in a few weeks.

Thanks, I thought it would look good with all the other small orphans and oddballs I have. Now, should I try: Honey, I bought you an anniversary present or should I just come clean and admit I am a hoarder?

Gary
Your not a hoarder.
You are a "Caretaker Of History"
That sounds so much better.

My wonderful wife and I took the trip out there this morning in our '46 Dodge truck and trailer, ended up being out there all day. We came away with a truck and a trailer load, BIG. I have to go back to pick the rest of it up and might just end up finding even more goodys to bring home. Ill try to get the pics started tomorrow. Got to get a look at the Mule, a little smaller than it looked in the photos but a neat tractor none the less. It looked as though it had the original Clinton on it.
