Guelph hot air engine
Hi,
I picked up this hot air engine at the Tulare swap yesterday. It runs good but I don't have any info about it. It says Guelph on the label. I looked a little and found Guelph, Ontario has a engineering school at the University there. Could this engine have come from there? Could a moderator move this up one notch? Looks like it came from the same place as my model Rider-Ericsson. It too, came from Guelph, ONT and was labeled as "ECO"
|

Rex, I have the same engine as you and there's another just like it in our Physics Dept at the college where I work.
The paper work that came with the engines says: Motor Industries Limited PO Box934 Guelph, Ontario Canada N1H6M6 The sticker on the engines says Stirling Hot Air Engine Motor Guelph Ontario Canada. The box from the one at the college has ECO on the label as well.

this is pretty interesting i did not know their was scale engines made out of the U of G in guelph i hope you find more info on them.John
