I need a Continental gas engine for a small tractor. I was told its an Au6 model number and it looks similar to a 45 deg REO motor. 417-540-4803

The Contenental is a 30 degree banked engine (more laid down), and trakes power directly from the crank. The REO is a 45 degree bank, and is either 2:1 or 4:1 depending on the gearbox. Most are 2:1, using the cam as the power take off.

All continental engines Au6- 7- 8- have the same mounting size, unless you want it orginal, you can move up in size to more HP.

I have a few Continental engines. Not sure off hand what models they are. Some have reduction gearbox, some don't. PM or e-mail me and we can discuss this further...
