Default Tecumseh valve guides

I have a snowthrower with a tecumseh engine hssk50-67338n. It has play in the exhaust valve. Does anyone know where I can get replacement exhaust valve guides from.

That engine doesn't use replaceable guides. Standard procedure is to ream the guide oversize, and install a new valve with oversize stem. I believe it is 1/32" over.

I use the Briggs valve guide bushings. I don't know what size your valve stems are but Briggs has valve guide bushings and installation kits for 1/4" and 5/16" stems. Just be sure to follow the procedure in the Briggs and Stratton shop manual. You do not want to ream the whole guide oversize, only enough to allow the bushing to be driven in flush with the top of the old guide. Here is a link to the kits. They are about halfway down the page. Hope that helps.
