Default newbie with a bing? weeden 14 copy

hey folks my name is dan. i am completly new to steam engines and have never really even set eyes on steam toy engines, untill i recently found this one.I belive it is a bing copy of the weeden 14. I guess my ? is how rare is this engine and is there a way to tell exactly what year it was made. With the little bit of research i have done i see most parts a readily avaliable. Is it really even worth to try to restore this engine being it is in rough shape. What are these engines worth working and not? i thankyou for any comments and veiws you may have.

will post some pics soon

Is it worth restoring? Only you can answer that. Myself, I have never seen a steam engine not worth keeping and trying to fix up. As to their worth, again it is what you think it is worth to you. I know that doesn't help much, just my opinion.
