I posted a message a few weeks ago on a stuck exhaust valve in my Le Roi upright with good feedback. Since then I have been successful in removing all of the head bolts inside of the hopper without breaking a stud. Now I am trying to remove the head/hopper (they are one piece), but it is being stubborn. There are 13 studs that hold it in place so there is not much wiggle-room. There are four tapped holes at the base of the head. I am wondering if these are supposed to be used along with a block and tackle to pull the head. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
