Steam Association of Manitoba is proud to present it's 2017 Steam School!
June 23-25th, 2017 at the Manitoba Agricultural Museum in Austin MB.
Students will receive 20 hours of classroom (theory) and practical (hands-on) instruction, under the tutelage of qualified, licensed Steam Traction Engineers. This course counts towards an application for a Manitoba Steam Traction License.
Cost: $50 (course materials and coffee/tea/snacks)
-Boiler design & construction
-Engine design & construction
-Safe operating practices
-Hands-on with multiple engines, working on lighting up, firing, steering, engine handling, belting up, firing under load, etc.
