Default Onan 2.5LK Factory Enclosed. Installed Gauges. Now like Contractors Model

I am in between my Back surgery, December 12th, 2017 and my Knee replacement coming Jan. 22, 2018.
I needed something to occupy myself but not heavy lifting. I have my May, 1972 Factory enclosed, 2.5LK that I did a mechanical restoration on and I wanted gauges in behind the door on the enclosure. All there was was the start-stop switch. I installed a rebuilt Hz, new volt meter and a new ammeter.
I used some of the same LEDs that I used to light the gauges on my JB control panel by using a piece of 1" Aluminum "C" channel and drilling it for the LEDs.
I found a proper delay, Airpax, 20 amp Full load, 25 amp trip circuit breaker.
The duplex plug box with the BELL weather cover was already mounted. I just put a new 20 amp duplex plug receptacle and I will probably add another. Only have about 21 amps to play with and the set is a 120 volt only.
You will notice blue masking tape on the gauge faces. This made handling the assembly easier and saved the plastic lenses from getting scratched.

Last 4 pictures.
The Hz gauge was a used one I bought on ebay, two of them for $9.99 free shipping. Only one worked and the other had a bad resistor. The cases were beat up so I transferred the internals into a brand new case and face from an ammeter I bought not knowing what I was buying at the time that took a weird style current transformer. So it became the donor.
The 1800 rpm LK almost sounds like a hit and miss engine because it runs slow and chugs along.

Nice! These LKs are not too light especially with a bad back like yours and mine. I think a dressed LK weights 230lbs. Can you take a close up picture of the control box components? It looks similar to mine which eventually I will be refurbing and there a some lose wires.

How is the back coming along? As for your knee replacement, how long will you be off your feet and prohibited from doing any physical work? I'm waiting for the day when they can do a brain replacement and I'll be first in line.

The control box picture that shows the 5 amp fuse for the LEDs doesn't have any loose wires. You might be seeing the two output wires, the hot and the neutral that are connected together with screws and nuts and taped.

January 12th is one month since my back surgery and it feels good. I was actually looking forward to the back surgery because I was hurting so much, it was hard walking.
I am walking a mile now but the knee hurts bad after. The knee surgery I am not looking forward to even though in the long run it will work out. late this year or early next, the LEFT knee will get done.

I hope the surgery works out. In the end you will be the bionic Motorhead.

As for the lose wires, I meant to say my LK has the lose wires and looks nasty. I wanted to use a picture of yours when I rebuild mine.

Johnny, I will take some and post it that or email them to you. The twinslan site is also back up now you might find a wire diagram that is close.
All of the wires are white inside my control panel.
