Default SEGPRSM-generator

New to this forum. Please excuse any mistakes or no-nos I am guilty of. Thanks Came across a military portable machine shop, mounted on a trailer with fold out sides. It contains a generator and welder powered by what looks like a D198 White diesel. Found a similar looking unit but not much info on the web it was listed as Shop Equipment General Purpose Repair Semi-Trailer Mounted thus SEGPRSM. It contained a mep-803 powered by an Onan. All the tags are faded, does anyone know what the generator is? Engine runs but no power output. Could be a switch needs closed but I don't know. Any help would be great. Thanks again, Mike

If I understand the question, the first one might be a MEP-004(15 KW). Some pictures would help. The 803 is a fairly current 10 KW unit. I think some of those trailers had MEP-003s, but they would not look like a White diesel.

Found a unit that was sold in Ga. with a White diesel but it didn't list what the generator was. NSN 4940-01-006-3229. It looks like the one I have. Controls for generator and welder are in a panel in the trailer front. Unit contained a lathe, mill, drill press and air compressor, all of this is gone. Also most of the small tooling is gone. There is paperwork for some of the tool kits but nothing for the generator or welder. Would like to identify generator and search for a manual or someone with the knowledge to make the gen. work. I don't think there is much wrong maybe a switch not closing a contact.

Identified this unit, it is a SEGPRSMD, NSN 4940-01-006-3229. The generator is a 12kw Dynamotor model SMD300 powered by a D298 White. Manual is a TM-9-4950-549-14-P. Has to have control circuit breaker on, power selector switch in generator position and push and release Dynamotor start-stop switch to make AC power. Maybe this will help someone later on.
