Default A completed project

I will remember to grab a camera and get pix tomorrow.

Paint job is done, 220V outlet installed, and it was ready to assume the position of honor out there feeding my workshop. I can move it with the hand truck, barely.

This thing is incredible! I turned on all the lights, and exhaust fan. Then I turned on the air compressor. That put the load up a bit. turned off the exhaust fan, and played with a welder... It struggled, but did not give up easy.
Way, way past 3000 watts.

Default oops

It tried to self destruct last night.
I started it up and was fiddling around in the shop while it warmed up.
Vroom! What the ....

When I got out there it was running about 7000 rpm! The linkage had fallen off the governor! I replaced the missing/broken cotter pin with a new one. All is as it should be. It survived! I am amazed.
