Default need help please simple question

We had an ice storm and will be without power for a few weeks. my question is on an MEP 002A the label says to get 240 single phase to connect L1 and L3 and L0 lugs. I know the L1 and L3 are both 110 for each leg of the 220,but what do i do with the L0 lug?

I don't know your gen, but I suspect L0 is the neutral (and the safty ground if you have neutral and frame bonded).
The military gen experts will be along shortly.

When the reconnect switch is in the 120/240 single phase position (3 o'clock) you get.....

L3-L1 = 240V
L3-L0 = 120V
L1-L0 = 120V

Did this answer your question.

Yes, that will power all your 240v and 120v loads correctly. The frame of the generator should be connected to your panel's earth ground too.
