Photo Sunshine 2 stroke 7hp. "E '

This engine was found completely stripped down onto 2 pallets the manifold has been modified to a hot box I have reassembled it and is running ok sn 998 can anybody date this engine I think its about 1918.

My type E. # 965 is around 1923. Thats what i was told.
Fred Mynard used to be the bloke to ask although thats not who told me .
