Default Needing 35 Hp Superior valve rocker arm

Hi Everyone!

Have been a long time looker of the site and now a registered user! I am hoping someone can help us locate a valve rocker arm for a 35 HP Superior. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are new to posting, so reply here, or to windyhillco@hotmail.com or call 360-317-6922. Thanks Chuck and Sandra

Chuck & Sandra,

Glad to see you here, I am sorry I don't know of any parts here in the northwest. I hope that you can get it going for the National coming up in Mt Vernon.

See you soon.

Matt

Not sure how much difference in size there is between a 25 hp and a 35 hp but there was parts of a 25 sold at the Schurman sale including a rocker arm , sideshaft, valve box and cylinder. Maybe someone around Woodland knows its whereabouts now or the scrapper may have got it.

The Rocker arm off of a 25hp will not fit a 35hp. Only 35hp parts fit a 35hp. The only part that will interchange between any of the 4 cycle Superiors is the govenor. I have a 35hp Rock Arm that has broke in two and been brazed back together, then broke again It could be repaired again, if your interested drop me an email.

I have goten parts for my 25 horse power from Mike McClure. I think he has a lot of parts for the Superior engines. He may have just what you need. It will not be cheap but you will get what you pay for. He is good to work with. He moved but try this number 620-870-0653. He sells on ebay under marjeamac you can try to find him there. He lived in Kansas but think he may be in Ohio now. Good luck
Fred.

Did you have any luck finding your rocker arm? If not I can see if I can find someone else to call.

Sandra,
I tried to call this morning but just got the answering machine. You have a post on your thread by Doug Waggoner. I know and have met this guy. He is knowlegable and a straight up guy. This is the guy I was going to refer you to. He works on oilfield engines all the time and if there are parts available he will have a handle on what fits what and where to find it. My two cents worth.
