Default 25-30 Cooper Bessemer

I am thinking about selling this and I have a prospective buyer. I have never weighed it and we are wondering how much it weighs... Any ideas about the weight of the bare engine? If the deal falls through it will soon be listed in the clasified adds here.

Thanks

The shipping weight of the enclosed crank 25 HP is 7800 and the shipping weight of the enclosed crank 30 HP is 8700 pounds according to "The Bessemer Engines" The stroke on both is 16 inches, the bore of the 25 HP is 10 1/2 inches while the bore of the 30 HP is 11 1/2 inches. If you knew how much the crate weighed and what the diameter of the piston was you could answer your question.
