Default Detroit Diesel Elec Power DDC25U with Diesel Perkins Engine Manuals?

I think I am going to pick up a 3 cylinder Perkins Powered Detroit Diesel Electric Power Generator. I pulled the reconnect panel cover to verify the gen head is definately a 12 wire. I want to reconfigure it for single phase instead of the 3 phase it is currently wired for. Does anyone have any information on these gensets? It was purchased by a local Fire Dept in 1988.
According to the information I can find if I have the genhead reconfigured for single phase it would have to be derated from 25kw to 16.5 kw.

The unit I'm looking at has about 500 hours on it. I am going to use it for residential power backup. After the last storm set that ran through Virginia and Maryland, 6 days without power can suck it...

It looks to have a Newage Genhead based on pulling open the reconnect panel.

Anyone have any more information about these units or manuals that would be awesome or a direction I should look?

I have a couple pictures if this helps anyone identify the unit.

Click the pictures for more resolution.

Thank you guys for any information you could provide in advance.

Picture of the whole unit...

Picture of the reconnect panel.

The only diagram I could find inside the reconnect panel seems to explain the AVR panel.

Looking at that set I'm pretty sure it was built by F G Wilson in Ireland.

Says "made in the United Kingdom " on the tag.
The data plate is hard to see at the angle you took the photos from.
Looks like 208/120 with a 0.8 power factor in 3 phase.
Does it say 23.?? kw
RPM ????

25.04kw(31.3 kVA) is what it says in 3 phase at 1800 RPM. if you click the photo's it takes you to imgur and click on it again and it will give you the fullsize image to scroll on. I just didn't want to post a completely obnoxious sized image in the thread.
