I was unaware that Frost and Wood helped make parts for the Canadian Lancaster.Anybody know what parts Frost and Wood made for the Canadian Lancaster's?

The Cockshutt Aircraft Division (Cockshutt Plow Company) at Brantford Ontario made undercarriages for the Canadian buildt Lancaster Bombers

Here you go...https://lindaseccaspina.wordpress.co...-smiths-falls/. I wonder if there’s any old hand grenades around Smith Falls that made it home in some lunch boxes? Lol

I used to know men who worked at Waterous, Cockshutt and Massey-Harris in Brantford. They talked about building parts for Mosquito planes and other planes during the war.

Here is a story on a local Milton woman who worked as a riveter at Victory Aircraft in Malton when the Lancaster Bombers were being buildt during the second world war in the 1940's.I happen to know her and her family well

The Battle of Britain Lancaster was part of the Royal Air Force 100th Anniversary flight today over Buckingham Palace, they had over 100 planes fly over in a timely manner ending with the Red Arrows display team.

We had a sneak preview over our house last night at 5.00pm, the Lancaster, Dakota, Spitfires and Hurricanes, eight in total did a loop from RAF Coningsby across to the coast and down the East Coast, a tremendous sound in getting all the timing and speed co ordinated for todays fly past watched by the Royal family and 1,000's of spectators lining The Mall to Buckingham Palace. Twenty two modern day Typhoon's flew in the formation of 100 in the sky, very impressive.

Well done everyone involved, a very fitting tribute.

Malcolm.
