A 15 hp has 68" flywheels and a 20 has 70" . Hard to tell from a photo. I have a 12 hp, a 20 hp, a 22.5 hp, and a 25-30 hp. I was told the flat heads came along around 1916, but i'm not real sure about the actual year. Fred anderson of sardis ohio has one of every size bessemer made up to 22.5 hp. Hey fred, what do you say about the year.

Hello Rod,
Do you happen to have any pictures of older Bessemers to compare with newer designs? The mountain west is not an area of plenty for large engines. I would just like to learn more about Bessemer engines, to bad I can't afford the price being asked for the topic engine of this string. Has anyone spoke with the owner of the engine in the ad?
Alan
