I am the proud new owner of one of these - the CDO-21647 is the US Navy designation for the AC/DC generator head. It is paired with a CDO-18010-A Onan ("OTC") engine. The type designation of the whole genset is CDO-73004-B. It's a runner, and just has to be the coolest 4HP engine EVER Albeit 2666RPM and 800Hz

The Navy manual for this specific unit is "Instruction Book for Gasoline Engine - Generator Set. Type - CDO - 73004-B / Navships 900, 262". Does anyone happen to have this? East Carolina U has a hardcopy in their library, and I'll arrange a photocopy or borrow the original (interlibrary loan), if no one has it.

Does anyone have a schematic in better shape? It's hiding under the lid of the transport case (attached).

This relates to a motor-generator, but illustrates why 800Hz didn't last long.

I have one of these generater with the whole kit of replacement parts in the lid, everything you need to overhaul the unit including new valves, spark plugs gaskets, everything. I would like to either sell it or donate it to a museum. If you know of someone looking for one please post back to me and we will work out the details.
