I find it somewhat unusual that feedback ratings of bidders varied from zero to 25 and initial bid was from someone with a feedback rating of 3. Winning bidder also had a feedback rating of zero.

Mabe the gear reduction on it is made of gold? I paid $15 for a NR6 at a swap meet 2 years ago.

I'm thinking someone thought the engine was unique to the Planet Jr or REALLY wanted an original. I like vthe scam idea though, as you would have to be an idiot [ rich idiot ] to not do a little research. Last complete Planet Jr I saw at an auction went for 60.00.
Maybe the rich oil shieks quit buying Chevy Caprices and turned to Planet Jrs.
Gotta run ... to garage and put the reducer on that NPR6 for ebay ... not . I would be sure to get 30.00 or less.

Post Re: Briggs $1300 npr6? Why?

I have a NPR6 I will take 10% of the ebay sale price...that will be 2500% more then what I gave for it....oh yeah it turns over only a turn an a half something is stuck inside....so will need a full overhaul....it is complete with no CBW....

Plan to take to Barboo, WI Swap Meet with a lot more Briggs...they will all be priced to sale...even this RARE NPR6 LOL....

Hope to see you all there...bring cash....

Uhh... Looks like the $1300 price didn't quite work out, but he's still dreaming.
