Default Subaru Robin/Mitsubishi AVR 120 or 240 volts

So I got roped in to fixing a Subaru Robin generator. Manual found here.

The AVR tested out bad so I ordered one. It is the craziest AVR you have ever seen with a PCB all conformal-coated blue with a large heat sink on it, and strange features, and very expensive.

During my wait another generator came my way. It is a Lister branded Hawkpower 6700 with a Mitsubishi engine and generator, looks like a rebrand. Mitsubishi MGE6700. Well it uses the same AVR, so I thought, and also tests out bad.
Item 22 on page 35.

So when the new AVR comes I throw it on the Hawkpower to try and it comes right up to 300 volts. Upon further investigation the Hawkpower is sensing 120v while the Subaru Robin is sensing 240v.

Does anyone know of a 120v version of this AVR or whether the adjusting pot can be turned that far or what? The Mitsubishi part number comes up with nothing. I could modify it to sense 240 but then the capability for 120 parallel would be lost and I would have to rewire the selector switch.
