Default Gardening Beyond the Plow

In 1981 Garden Way published their history for their 50th anniversary in a booklet entitled Gardening Beyond the Plow. It gives some history on the rotary tiller and the start of the company in Long Island City, NY by Cadwallader Washburn Kelsey. He initially imported German Siemens tillers and Swiss SIMAR tillers before making his own after he moved the operations to Troy, NY.

I requested and was granted permission by MTD Products to scan and put the booklet file on my website. It is accessible via the link below.
