It's possible that Doug saw the photos of the Chase in France that you posted and assumed it was in a museum rather than a private collection? Do you know where this Chase came from - was it an original import to France?

I have no idea where that tractor came from originally.
I know most of the tractors in that collection were original imports from ww-I period.

Hi I am a vintage collector in New Zealand and have reciently been told of a Chase Tractor just down the road from where I live here in Blenheim I belive there is also another one somewhere near Dunedin if you would like a photo of the one here I can send it , contact me at rod.lin@xtra.co.nz

The one in Milton is a great tractor but somebody at the former Ontario Agricultural Museum left water in the motor and cracked the block...a damn shame to say the least.

Here is the Canadian buildt Chase 12-25 tractor buildt around 1918/19 from the collection's of the former Ontario Agricultrial Museum now Country Heritage Park at Milton Ontario Canada.This tractor was bought new from the Chase factory in Toronto Ontario by the Campbell family at Moffat Ontario they used the tractor right up untill the late 50's early 60's and then in the 1970's it was donated to the museum at Milton
